Report skewers '06 raids at Swift

A report released Thursday details the immigration raids of 2006 that hit six Swift plants, including in Greeley, and recommends more oversight of immigration enforcement and increased enforcement of labor laws that target employers.
The report commissioned by the United Food and Commercial Workers union concluded the raids by Immigration and Customs Enforcement were counterproductive, unlawful and ineffective, said Joseph Hansen, president of the UFCW.
